Zirconia ceramic crowns


Zirconia ceramic crowns are currently the best and highest quality material for crowns and bridges.

They are made with using CAD-CAM technology, which allows for a perfect fit on prepared teeth or dental implants. A precise fit is important to avoid caries development under crowns in the long run.

These types of crowns are extremely strong, can be used in any region of the oral cavity and have excellent aesthetic characteristics. They can be placed on prepared teeth or dental implants. They are biocompatible, are quickly accept by the organism and have hypoallergenic properties.

Unlike metal ceramic crowns, zirconia-ceramic crowns do not give a gray discoloration to the gums.

Types of zirconia-ceramic crowns


Zirconia-ceramic crowns – are exceptionally strong, can be used in any region of the oral cavity and have excellent aesthetic characteristics. Zircon-ceramic crowns have a zirconia framework and are completely covered with layers of ceramics. We can place them on prepared teeth or dental implants. They are biocompatible, are quickly accepted by the organism and have hypoallergenic properties.

Zirconia-ceramic cutback crowns – are the newest type of zirconia-ceramic crowns.They have all the excellent characteristics of zirconia-ceramic crowns, but are stronger and more resilient than conventional zirconia-ceramic crowns. These crowns are made from a more advaced and colored zirconium. The lingual (palatal) sides and occlusal surface of these crowns are made of zirconia, while the outer surface is layered with ceramics. As in conventional zirconia-ceramic crowns, they have excellent aesthetic properties , but are even more resilient to chips and fractures. They are biocompatible, are quickly accepted by the organism and have hypoallergenic properties.
